The 2009 show season was a great start for Mayberry Farm
Alpacas. We took 'the kids' and came away with a fourth place ribbon
in the beige juvenile class. Magnum's Peruvian Rudy was definitely an
attention getter with his awesome presence and 'look at me' attitude.
Rudy followed his GWAS placement up with another 4th place in the always
tough beige class at Fall Fest.

We entered the fleece from one of our foundation females,
Almar Farms Lei Lei Darling in the tough white yearling class at GWAS. Lei Lei
has wonderful crimp and a great handle. Her fleece was rewarded with a
4th place ribbon!

Lei Lei's fleece was subsequently entered in the Estes Park Wool Market
fleece show. This time she came away with the
BLUE RIBBON!
In early 2009 we had been keeping our eye out for just the right herdsire...and
we found exactly what we were looking for in Sir Lawrence of Stewart.
Take a look at this young man! We expect him to add density, fineness
and wonderful crimp to our herd. Contact us about breedings if you'd
like to add these traits to your herd.
