Mayberry Farm Alpacas
We knew going into the 2010 show season that we had some
very special boys in our show string. In just our second year of
showing we came away from the largest alpaca show in the
country with 4 of 5 boys placing in the ribbons.
Following GWAS we entered 5 of our freshly shorn fleeces in the Estes Park Wool Market fleece show and came away
with ribbons 5 ribbons:
•
BF’s Captain Morgan Spiced Rum - 1st
•
Sir Lawrence of Stewart - 4th
•
Magnum’s Peruvian Rudy - 4th
•
Dacia Vu All Over - 5th
•
Belle’s Liberty Raens - 4th
Fall Fest 2010 again emphasized we are on the right track with our breeding program. We entered 4 yearling boys in
halter classes and came home with 3 ribbons! These boys are maturing into great looking junior herdsire prospects.
Below are pictures of Floyd, Lucky and Oliver.
We did well in the fleece show too...taking ribbons in 4 of the 5 entries:
•
Magnum’s Peruvian Rudy - 2nd
•
Mile High Enrique - 3rd
•
Belle’s Liberty Raens - 4th
